4. Materials and Methods
4.1. Study Design
Surveys were conducted in four supermarkets belonging to the same commercial
chain, selected from the most representative ones of an Apulian city in June 2021. Of these,
two (hereinafter referred to as A and B) were equipped with an ozonation system, and two
(hereinafter referred to as C and D) did not have any air-diffused remediation treatment.
The ozonation systems in the two supermarkets are equipped with two or three
generators (GX model, Ozotek®, Taranto, Italy), with closed corona discharge reactors,
located in false ceilings with branches for the distribution of ozone in the selling areas. By
means of microcompressors, the machines produce approximately 2.64 g ozone per hour.
During the night, in the absence of staff or customers, cycles of ozonation are carried out
for a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes. During the opening hours, microcycles of 10 minutes
are performed every 2 hours, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The staff can access workplaces at
7:00 am, and shops are opened to customers at 8:00 am.
The sampling was carried out over four consecutive midweek days (one for each
supermarket) not holidays, in order to reproduce conditions as reproducible as possible
and with medium turnout. The areas most frequented by customers were selected for
air sampling: bread, cheeses, cured meats, fish, fruit, vegetables and checkout areas; for
surfaces sampling, scales for self-service products, refrigerator handles for beverages and
dairy products, freezer handles for ice cream, cash register keyboards used by cashiers and
POS keyboards used by customers were selected.
The samples were taken at opening hours (8:00 am) and at the most representative time
of the high levels of customer use (12:00 pm), transported to the laboratory in a suitable
isothermal refrigerator at a controlled temperature (4 C) and immediately processed.
Overall, 10 air and 20 surface samples were examined for each supermarket both at 8:00 am
and at 12:00 pm, for a total of 240 samples (80 of air and 160 of surfaces).

Το παρόν πρωτόκολλο συμμορφώνεται με τις επείγουσες διατάξεις της Ιταλικής Κυβέρνησης για την αντιμετώπιση των κινδύνων για την υγεία που σχετίζονται με την εξάπλωση του ιού  COVID-19, με ιδιαίτερη αναφορά στις παρεχόμενες ενδείξεις αναφορικά με τις διαδικασίες εξυγίανσης των μη υγειονομικών δομών ( επιφάνειες και εσωτερικοί χώροι).

Το Υπουργείο Υγείας με το πρωτόκολλο αρ. 24482 της 31 Ιουλίου 1996, αναγνώρισε την χρήση του όζοντος για την επεξεργασία του αέρα και του νερού , σαν φυσική προστασία, για την “αποστείρωση” μολυσμένων χώρων από βακτήρια, ιούς, σπόρια, μούχλα και ακάρεα. Τονίζεται δε, πως η διαδικασία εξυγίανσης που γίνεται με την χρήση του όζοντος που παράγεται in situ, αναφέρεται στην Εγκύκλιο του Υπουργείου Υγείας  17644, που δημοσιεύτηκε στις  22 Μαΐου 2020. Αυτές οι διαδικασίες της “απολύμανσης”, δεν μπορούν να αναφέρονται μέχρι σήμερα σαν επεμβάσεις απολύμανσης, επειδή εκμεταλλεύονται “ουσίες παραγόμενες  in situ”, μέχρι σήμερα δεν έχουν εξουσιοδοτηθεί σαν βιοκτόνα σύμφωνα με τις Ευρωπαϊκές και Εθνικές  κανονιστικές διατάξεις, λόγω του ότι  η κοινοτική διαδικασία έγκρισης  , που προβλέπεται από τον Ευρωπαϊκό Κανονισμό για τα βιοκτόνα (Κανονισμός. ΕE 528/2012 ή BPR), είναι στη φάση της ολοκλήρωσης.

Οι ιοί (ειδικά το SARS COV-2) είναι το θέμα της συζήτησης αυτή τη στιγμή, με φόβους για την εξάπλωση του COVID-19 που σαρώνει τον πλανήτη. Χιλιάδες περιπτώσεις έχουν επιβεβαιωθεί παγκοσμίως και πολλοί ανησυχούν όλο και περισσότερο για το πόσο λίγα γνωρίζουμε για την ασθένεια και την ικανότητά της να εξαπλωθεί. Εξακολουθεί να είναι άγνωστο το αν η ασθένεια είναι αερομεταφερόμενη ή απλώς εξαπλώνεται μέσω ανθρώπινης επαφής. Ωστόσο, οι ιοί από τη φύση τους είναι δύσκολο να περιοριστούν και είναι εξαιρετικά μεταδοτικοί . Ευτυχώς, το σταθεροποιημένο υδατικό όζον προσφέρει μια ισχυρή λύση, ικανή να αδρανοποιήσει μερικούς από τους πιο μολυσματικούς ιούς μέσα σε λίγα δευτερόλεπτα, ενώ είναι 100% ασφαλής για τους ανθρώπους

Μπορεί το OZON νά εξουδετερώσει τον κορονοϊό ?

Επειδή ο νέος κοροναϊός είναι τόσο νέος για εμάς, κάνουμε επί του παρόντος τις δοκιμές για να επιβεβαιώσουμε ότι το ΟΖΟΝ μπορεί να καταστρέψει τον SARS COV-2  που προκαλεί την ασθένεια COVID-19 και αναμένεται να δούμε τα αποτελέσματα τις επόμενες εβδομάδες. Αυτό που γνωρίζουμε, ωστόσο, είναι ότι το Όζον αποδεικνύεται ότι εξουδετερώνει σκληρότερους ιούς από τον κορονοϊό. Μελέτες σχετικά με το όζον έδειξαν ότι είναι ιδιαίτερα αποτελεσματικό έναντι των περιβλημένων με λιπίδια ιών (στις οποίες κατηγοριοποιούνται καί τα Coronaviridae). Θα είμαστε σίγουροι ότι θα σας ενημερώσουμε αμέσως μόλις λάβουμε την επίσημη έκθεση!

Εξάλειψη  ιών με σταθεροποιημένο όζον

Το καθαρό σταθεροποιημένο όζον είναι ένα εξαιρετικά αποτελεσματικό καθαριστικό, απολυμαντικό και αποσμητικό, αποδεδειγμένο ότι σκοτώνει ορισμένους από τους πιο δύσκολους ιούς. Μια φυσική και χωρίς χημικές ουσίες λύση, τα συστήματα OZONISE παράγουν όζον χρησιμοποιώντας μόνο ηλεκτρική ενέργεια καί καθαρό οξυγόνο. Aspen Valley Hospital officials assured hospital board members and the community at a board meeting Monday that the facility is prepared for what could be a lengthy battle with COVID-19.

“This isn’t going to go away tomorrow,” said Chief Clinical Officer Lori Maloy, adding the hospital is expecting to see cases from the Roaring Fork Valley. “It will probably be around for the next few months.”

Anyone who thinks they might have the COVID-19 virus should call their regular doctor first for a phone screening, according to AVH’s website. If they feel they must report to the emergency room, they need to call the hospital when they arrive onsite so doctors and nurses can prepare, Maloy said. Signs outside of the emergency department entrance indicate what phone number to call.

In addition, the hospital announced in a news release Tuesday that new entrance procedures will be instated at the hospital beginning Wednesday morning. All patients, visitors, volunteers, and vendors must enter through the hospital’s east entrance, where they will be asked screening questions prior to being allowed entry.

The emergency room department will implement night procedures 24 hours a day, meaning that patients who arrive must call a phone number and be screened first by an ER nurse before entry, according to the release. The emergency room will be the only entry point to the hospital after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends.

“Aspen Valley Hospital will be limiting hospital access to only patients and their visitors, and not allowing access for other persons who do not have a healthcare-related reason to be at the hospital,” the release states. “While ongoing classes are still running as planned, all participants will be screened prior to entering those classes.”

The Snowmass Clinic in Snowmass Village and the After-Hours Medical Care clinic in Basalt also will begin phone-screening procedures before allowing patients entry, the release states.

AVH has about 400 protective masks on hand, as well as an ozone machine that can sterilize the masks and allow the hospital to use each one 10 times, Maloy said at Monday’s board meeting.

“We don’t really fear the coronavirus,” Maloy said. “We do feel well-prepared to care for our staff, our existing patients and those that might come in.”………
